Digital Reef Names Bob Lentz President and CEO
--Industry veteran to lead growing data management and electronic discovery provider—
BOXBOROUGH, Mass., July 27, 2009—Digital Reef (www.digitalreefinc.com) today announced that Bob Lentz has been named president and CEO. A technology industry veteran with significant experience in growing innovative startups in highly competitive market segments, Bob Lentz will refine business strategies, expand marketing and sales efforts and oversee Digital Reef’s continued growth. The move will allow Steve Akers, Digital Reef’s founder, to concentrate his efforts on product innovation, while assuming the role of CTO.
Lentz previously served as president and CEO of PermissionTV. He has held senior management positions at companies such as OATSystems, Inc, now part of Checkpoint Systems Inc.; eRoom Technology, sold to Documentum Inc. and now part of EMC Corp; Xionics Document Technologies, sold to Oak Technology; Individual Inc., merged with DesktopData to create NewsEdge Corporation; and Appex Corporation, sold to Electronic Data Systems.
