Preparing eDiscovery Data for Review

What is the best way to prepare eDiscovery data for review? The typical approach to investigating this question is to look at the electronic discovery reference model (EDRM) and specific rules in eDiscovery. During a recent panel held in Nashville, three industry experts took a different approach to exploring this question. Instead they examined the strategies, tools, and techniques for preparing eDiscovery data for review and looked in depth at the overall objectives.

Members of the panel were Founder and CTO of Digital Reef, Steve Akers, and the CEO of Precise Litigation Technologies, Peter Mansmann. The panel was moderated by Chris Dale of the eDisclosure Information Project.

By breaking up the panel into 3 categories - strategies, tools and techniques - viewers of the panel are able to gain best practice insight into having the most defensible eDiscovery process. The panel offers a lively discussion on how to get to legal review quickly and most cost effectively. Using real world examples, Steve Akers and Peter Mansmann offer the audience ways to avoid common eDiscovery mistakes.

Below are three video segments from the panel; “An Introduction” where Chris Dale really sets the stage for discussion, “Strategies”, and finally “Tools and Techniques”. To watch and learn more, click on the videos below.
